From Liberty Place in Philadelphia to Trump’s Taj Mahal in Atlantic City and beyond, Cornell has played a major role in shaping the future. Specializing in the erection of structural steel and precast concrete, Cornell is involved in the rehabilitation of bridge structures as a prime contractor, bridge fabrication and erection and providing equipment for multistory buildings, waterfront and other industrial work.
Strict adherence to high standards and superior quality has allowed Cornell & Company to continuously lead the steel erection industry. Maintaining AISC certification allows Cornell to offer a variety of products and services to fit your specific job needs. As an AISC certified erector and AISC certified fabricator, projects involving simple and major bridge repair, emergency bridge repair, high-rise erection, precast concrete erection and fracture critical material are apart of every day operations. These areas of specialization are complimented by our vested interest in tower gantry cranes.
In 1989, Cornell acquired the tower crane and gantry crane manufacturing operations of FMC Link Belt. As specialists in large-scale construction projects, the company is expert in every aspect of crane engineering technology and crane utilization. Cornell also offers a variety of related services including tower gantry crane rental, maintenance, parts, assembly/disassembly and inspection. Cornell is also a full parts and servicing distributor for the Terex American Crane and Terex Demag Crane. With the recent addition of eight TG cranes, no job is too large for Cornell’s TG 1900 or TG 2300B crane fleet, the largest in the nation.
Cornell's corporate headquarters is located in Westville, New Jersey.
